With our last field trip in the wraps today, I thought it would be interesting to share the following article I found about the top 10 combat airplanes produced. While we have certainly got the chance to see wartime, commercial as well as recreational aircrafts, my personal favorites were the air force planes because of the rich war history.What I found most interesting was how many of them were from the WWII era- I think this speaks volumes to the impact aviation had in that era.
