Top 10 Airplane Movies

I have never been one to go and actively seek out a movie that features airplanes. However, after reading this list I am curious about quite a few of the movies listed. I have only seen the wonderfully thrilling Catch Me if You Can and the wildly hilarious Airplane!. It's amazing to me how, even to this day, airplanes have had such a huge impact on society. Airplanes used to be an unbelievable concept and here we are, making movies that feature them! They have become their own setting and society has come up with new ways to make them terrifying and absolutely wonderful. For example, Snakes on a Plane is a movie about, you got it, snakes on a plane. Absolutely. Terrifying. (Note: I did hear Snakes on a Plane was a ridiculous movie, so proceed with caution). On the other hand, we also have movies that make planes a place of humor, like in Airplane!. No one can deny the influence of airplanes in society, and it is apparent in all of the films listed. Now, get comfy, grab your bag of popcorn, and marathon these airplane-centered movies. (I bet you're all thinking, "Surely you can't be serious." Well..I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.)
