10 Most Bizarre Items Confiscated at Arizona Airport
I found this article today and thought that it was interesting and worth sharing. It is entitled "10 Most Bizarre Items Confiscated at Arizona Airport". I think it is interesting that as the TSA regulations become increasingly more strict, people find new ways around them. Additionally, I think that it is interesting some of the creative ways that people find to attempt to sneak these items onto airplanes. Some of the items that I thought were interesting were the stun gun that appears to look like a phone, hiding a sword in a cane, hot sauce grenade, definitely bear repellent, and a burning book that is a part of a magic trick. Some of the more obvious things that people should know not to bring on a plane are knives, marijuana and fireworks. However, it never ceases to amaze me what people try to bring on airplanes. I also have never really understood how my shampoo is going to cause the plane to crash or is somehow a threat to the safety of the other passengers, however, one time I thought since I had a small bag I could probably just have it as a carry-on. Until I was standing in the line and saw the huge signs reminding you of the excessively small amounts of liquids and lotions you can have and I remembered I had full large bottles of sunscreen and bug spray that I was not about to throw out..so I had to run back and check my bag. And yet other people ignore these signs and find new and creative ways to smuggle items onto the plane.
